Other Items and Old Business:

1. Isaak Avenue to 75th and 78th Street Project. The notice of the Public Hearing on Proposed Assessment was posted on the town hall bulletin board and mailed to each property owner for the hearing scheduled February 24, 2004, 7 p.m., at the Town Hall. Marty Campion, Engineer, Otto and Associates, forwarded estimated project cost for reconstruction of Isaak Avenue and 78th Street Northwest. (copy at meeting)

2. 80th Street/Hemlock Road Improvement. Attorney TimYoung is to forward a financial outline.

3. Topfer Road Relocation Project.

4. Annual Meeting and Election – Tuesday, March 9, 2004. Election Judge list will be presented at the next board meeting. Corinna News will highlight issues to be presented at this meeting. Bill Lieb will have news articles ready by February 10. State Auditor is to forward List of Registered Voters by February 6. Requests for Absentee ballots may be submitted to the clerk’s office beginning Monday, February 9, 2004.

5. Audit for 2003. Requested township files were assembled and delivered to Larson Allen, January 23. A letter stated that the board would appreciate the audit presentation at board meeting, Wednesday, March 3, a week before the Annual Meeting.

6. Hendricks Avenue Cul-De-Sac Vacation. Notice of Completion was delivered to Wright County Auditor’s Office for recording.

7. Wright County Township Officer’s Association: Karen McDougall, Secretary/Treasurer forwarded a copy of the Resolution of Support that the Township Officers passed at the January 7, 2004 Meeting. Resolution encourages Wright County Board of Commissioners to continue to monitor and review the many issues surrounding rural and urban growth and development in all areas of the County, as such growth does potentially impact the quality of life for all citizens of the County (copy available at meeting, 2/3)

8. City of Maple Lake – Joint Meeting, January 27, 2004: Attorney Rhonda Pagel is to forward a Draft of Joint Resolution and Agreement for an Orderly Annexation between Corinna Township and City of Maple for review and discussion at this meeting. The Resolution and Agreement should be in final agreement for approval at the February 17 meeting. The second meeting to review the growth plans with the City of Maple Lake will be Monday, February 23, 2004, 7 p.m. at the town hall..

9. Local Board of Appeal and Equalization Date: The new date for this review will be Tuesday, April 27, 2004, 3 p.m.

10. General and Road & Bridge levy proposal for 2005: Calculations of the receipts, reserve funds and proposed disbursements have been prepared for the board to review and determine 2005 proposed levy. (copy available at meeting),

Letter, received 2/3, from David Detert, 717 S. Hubbard Ave, Litchfield, a candidate for Legislature, District 18B. He wishes opportunity to speak to residents of district at a township meeting. (Letter on file)
