Construction. Update.
2. Town Hall
Rental Policy, (Copy
of rental agreement). Two rental
applications have been mailed for dates:
April 29 and May 13.
3. Election
and Annual Meeting: Tuesday, March 14, 2006. Judge List submitted for approval.
Voting
hours are 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the Annual Meeting to begin at 8:15 p.m.
Absentee voting hours are Saturday, March 11, 10 a.m. to 12 noon and Monday, March 13, until 5 p.m.
Clerk will accept requests for an absentee
ballots for mailing.
In case of inclement weather, the Election and Town Meeting
will be the following Tuesday, March
21, 2006.

gas pipeline on Gulden
Avenue. Chairman John Dearing, 2/10/06, letter to Centerpoint
Energy, questioned cost allowance per foot.

Steve Leinonen asked for a board member to make an
inspection to verify that his property was now in compliance. (John Dearing to follow up)

Bill Lieb intends to have articles written for
the newsletter by this meeting date.
Newsletter is to be in the mail by March 1.

Update:, 2/09/06: 1.
Jared Jordal named Pension Director 2. Mandate reform update.
Auditor Update, 2/17/06: 1. Mandate Reform Initiative. Star Tribune printed an article about the
initiative. Article printed some of the
resolutions that local governments have sent in and about some of the
legislation in the works. State Auditor
continues to encourage local governments to participate in this initiative to
pass resolutions about mandates in need of reform.
After meeting. Board will continue
review of 2006 Budget and Proposal for 2007.
