            Copies of the previous regular meeting minutes and this meeting’s agenda along with the list of bills to be paid are available for those who attend this meeting.

 

Requests to be on the Agenda:

1. 7:15 Michael Strzyzewski, 6636 80th Street NW PID 206-049-001250.  Wishes to add      a garage onto his property that will be too close to the road.

2. 7:20 Hansford Gordon, 6400 102nd St NW.  Mr. Hansford stated he has removed six           cars and one wrecker will be removed and had a court date Jan. 27, 2006.  (Junk             Violation:  20 unlicensed inoperable vehicles on the property and junk in yard)

3. 7:30 Township Bond for New Town Hall and 80th Street Road Construction Costs,              Tim Young, Town Attorney.

Other Items:

1.         Corinna Township Planning and Zoning.  Town Attorney, Tim Young, confirmed           that Tim Young and Tom Salkowski, Wright County Zoning Administrator,          Assistant Wright County Attorney Tom Zins and Chuck Marohn from     Community Growth Institute will be meeting Feb. 14th at 2 p.m.

            Letter from Mrs. Marion Goodman, 103rd St NW, 1/17/06.  In 50s and 60s, Mrs.        Goodman was a member of the Shorewood, MN Planning Commission when old     Excelsior Township incorporated as Shorewood Village.  She expressed hope that      land use issue can be resolved satisfactorily for the continued enjoyment of         beautiful Corinna countryside.  (Board copy of letter at meeting)

2.         Town Hall Construction.  Update. 

            Wright-Hennepin Coop application for Cooling and Heating Rebate Program.              Rental policy from Rockford Township and Silver Creek Township                           (board copy of rental policies at meeting)

3.         Market Retreat.  Otto Associates forwarded final construction plans for comments        or questions.

4.         Election Equipment.  Wright County Auditor forwarded letter indicating HAVA             equipment funding application status.  (copy of letter for board at meeting)

5.         Election and Annual Meeting, Tuesday, March 14, 2006.

            Judge list will be available for approval at next town board meeting.

            Voting hours are 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. with the Annual Meeting to begin at 8:15   p.m.  Absentee voting hours are Saturday, March 11, 10 a.m. to 12 noon and    Monday, March 13, until 5 p.m.  Request for an absentee ballot for mailing             begin February 10.  In case of inclement weather, the Election and Town Meeting          will be the following Tuesday, March 21, 2006.

6.         Audit for 2005.  Audit items were gathered and delivered to Larson Allen, Feb. 1.

7.         Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.  Proposals are being accepted to place     wastewater or storm water collection and treatment system projects on the Water   Pollution Control Revolving Fund. (copy on file)

8.         Township Association Quarterly Meeting. Jan. 26, 2006. Township       Salary/Benefit/ Overtime Survey was distributed. (board copy at meeting)

            Town Board members were encouraged to attend hearings regarding annexation            at Sartell, Rochester and Stacy.  (E-Mail to board 1/27 noting the hearing details)

9.         Annandale Area Fire Commission Meeting, Thursday, February 16, 2006, 7 p.m.,        Annandale Fire Hall.  Ken Jude is township representative.  (Minutes of previous   meeting, incident report summary, Revenue/Expenditures with comparison to   budget for 2005, and the 2006 and 2007 budget proposals available to board at           meeting) 

10..      David Levi, property owner in Corinna Township,  (E-Mail, 2/2/06) For town   board, an article of interest from Wall Street Journal, 2/1/06.  Subject:   U. S.     Rising   Property Taxes Spark   Revolts, activists in 20 states push legislation,         citizen   ballots or lawsuits to gain relief.  (Board copy at meeting)

11,       CenterPoint Energy notification and plan for natural gas main installation for                    Gulden Avenue NW.  Installation is scheduled to be completed during this       construction season.  Any questions, a board member is to contact the designer      indicated on the plan.

12.       Clerk will be on vacation February 12-19.  During that week, messages may be            recorded or forwarded.
