            Copies of the last town board regular meeting and this meeting’s agenda are available for those who attend this meeting.

 

Requests to be on the Agenda:

1. 7:00 Chuck Marohn, Community Growth.  Present ordinances to consider,  gravel mining rules and procedure timeline to follow after the January 2, 2007 town board’s approval of the Township Comprehensive Plan.

 

2. 7:30 Brad Longtin, Mink-Sommers Lake Association Representive.  Informal presentation of what LID district accomplishes.

 

3.         Anthony Rieger-Borer, 11754 Jarvis Ave NW, PID 206-000-03220. (Response Form)  Petition for Conditional Use Permit to move-in a dwelling.

Other Business:

1.         Wright County Attorney.  Public Hearing Notice and Notice of Intent to Adopt Wright County Official Map Ordinance.  Draft to be discussed at Wright County Board during its meeting, January 23, 2007, 9:30 a.m.  (Board:  letter and ordinance draft)

2.         Wright County Planning Commission, February 8, 2007, 8 p.m.  Public hearing to consider an amendment to the Wright County Zoning Ordinance to add “Environmental Education Resource Center” as a conditional use in both the AG and A/R.  Also to add definition of the use “Environmental-Education Resource Center” and performance standards for the new use.  (Board:  Response form and definition and standards)

3.         New Cingular Wireless:  (Clearwater Township)  Notice of public hearing January 25, 2007Petition for Conditional Use Permit for a 195’ high communications tower. For response to request.  (Board:  Map)

4.         2007 Local Board of Appeal and Equalization Date:  Thursday, April 12, 2007.

            Confirmation needed.

5.         Local Board of Appeal and Equalization Training:  Wednesday, January 24, 2007 beginning at 12:30 p.m., Wright County Government Center.   Recommended two board members attend training session.  One voting member present at Appeal must have attended the training session. 6.         Wright County Township Officers Association Meeting, January 4, 2007.          Joint Township/County Meetings:  Beginning in February, third Thursday of the month at 8 p.m. in County Board Room at the Wright County Government Center.  Bill Lieb volunteered to be the representative.  Suggested topics for these meetings should be forwarded to Commissioner Dick Mattson by January 31, 2007.  (Form on file)

7.         State Audit scheduled for Corinna Township covering 2006.  State Auditor’s Office called Jan. 12 that State does not have staff to perform audit in a timely manner.

No plans for State Audit in 2007.  Township is to contract for audit services.

8.         Wright County Planning and Zoning, response for request to subdivide Gerry Mundell property, 9081 Ingram Ave NW, PID 206-000-154300.  Cannot accept application as property has not been zoned S-3 or proposed.  (Board copy of ltr, 1/4/07)

9.         Wright County Planning and Zoning response to Tom Lampi  variance request for signs on lots in Ledwein Commercial Park.  (Board: copy of  response, 1/8/07)

10.       103rd Street NW.  Otto and Associates to provide survey report of the reconstructed road as completed.

11.       House Removal, 108th and Highway 24.  House removal contract.

12.       Junk Amnesty Date:  Saturday, July 28thVendors will be contacted.

13.       Corinna Township Annual Meeting and Election, Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Two candidates have filed.  The last date for a candidate to withdraw from the election is Thursday, January 18, 2007, 5 p.m.

14.       Building Permits:  (7) 11/27-12/18:  1-new home; 1-deck; 5-septic systems.

            State Auditor Anderson:  Briefed new auditor. Anderson stated that she is leaving with a sense of accomplishment in her four years as State Auditor
