1.7:00  Knife River Corporation, site location:   John Dearing.  Discuss the site and the Highway 24 project.     

2. 7:30 Ken Yager, Township Assessor.  Renew Contract.  2007 Review Area:  South of Clearwater Lake, and South and East of Hemlock.

3. 7:45 Midwest Construction, sub-contractor for Knife River Construction, Dennis (Charley) Anderson:  Request Conditional Use Permit for a temporary use permit to mine approximately 60,000 cu. yds of granular material to be used for State Highway 24 project.

5. 8:15 (To be confirmed) Gordon Smith:  Request permit to sell fireworks at Lampi Auctioneering Property near Cy Rd 6 and Highway 55.  Wright County Fire Marshall asks that township review and make decision for transient merchant’s license.   This person stated had this fireworks business at Lampi area and at Buffalo Super America for several years.

6. 8:30 Robert Klinkner, 6277 80th St NW, Somers Lake, PID 206-017-003150.  Request for variance for drainfield to be at 6’ and 5’ too close to town road.   Will bring drawing. (property location map)

1.         Planning and Zoning Administration:

            A.        6/1/07 Wright County Planning and Zoning, Tom Salkowski, Administrator. Subject:  Knife River, Inc. application for mining.  (Email copy to Board, 6/2/07).

            B..        June 14, 1:30 p.m. Meeting with P&Z Administrator Tom Salkowski, Assistant County Attorney Tom Zims and Commissioner Karla Heeter and township officers.

            C..       June 14, 7:00 p.m. Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting and Public Hearing  for Amendments to the Corinna Township Comprehensive Plan and Corinna Township Land Use Ordinance.  (5/31 mailed  to T. Board copies of correspondence from Tim Young and Wright County Commissioners.)

            D.        Gravel Moratorium Date Extension:  Update. 

                        (1) Letter from David Youngquist, received 5/17/07:  Protest against gravel pit location on John Dearing property, at Cy Rd 39 near Highway 24.  

2.         Jeff Essen, property address:  113568 90th St NW (cont’d 5/15/07).Town board offered to make a site visit to determine road access to landlocked property.

3.         NW Quadrant Land Use Review.  Informal meeting has been set for June 20th, 2007, 7 p.m., Silver Creek Township, 3827 134th St NW.  Confirm number that will be attending.

4.         103rd Street Road Reconstruction.  Wright Soil and Water Letter, 5/22/07  Wetland Credit

approval on hold until road slopes corrected and cul-de-sac change of location approved. (Sent copy Town Board: Email 5/26/07)

5.         Pleasant Lake Association Visioning Session, May 19, 2007.   Comment.

6.         Land Title Registration,  Property:  Gov. Lot 2,  Lot 10, Block 1, part of recorded plat of Addison Bay, Sugar Lake. Defining Corrie Duffy property line that would have effect of locating a Corinna Township public road.  Legal description when parcels were conveyed was ambiguous as relied on the location of the shoreline of Sugar Lake  ( Board copy:  Attorney Steven Mackey letter 5/16/07 and Examiner’s Report and Supplemental Examiner’s Report) 

7.         Recycling Bins ordered and are to arrive in a few days.

9.         Township Quarterly Association Meeting.  .  (Planning Commission is Thursday, July 12 and Albion Township has an item of major concern at that meeting).  Secretary Karen McDougall confirmed date change to Wednesday, July 11, 2007 and she needs number that will attend as a count for preparing the meal.

10.       Wright County Commissioner Communication Meeting, Thursday June 21, 2007, 8 p.m., Wright County Government Center, County Commissioner’s Room.

11.        Highway 55 Coalition Meeting tentatively rescheduled for Friday June 15, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at Hennepin County, Medina Office.

13.       Automark Legislation.  Gary Poser, Director of Elections, State of Minnesota, Email 5/24/07: “Current law requiring towns to use the AutoMarks in elections held after Dec. 31, 2007 is still in effect.  We are looking for options for this situation, but wanted you to be aware of the issue”.

                        April 1, 2006 population estimate is 2,402.

                        April 1, 2006 household estimate is 985.
