Copies of the previous meeting minutes, this meeting’s agenda and a list of the claims to be paid are available for those attending this meeting.

 

Request to be on the agenda:

1.  7:00  Kevin Blohm and Veda Vargo, 11708 Hollister Ave NW, Sugar Lake. (PID 206-011-002070)  Site plan has been received and town board plans to make another site visit.

Lot line adjustment request.

2.  7:30 Todd Walock representing Dave and Brenda Stepp, 9019 Ingram Ave NW, Cedar Lake. (PID 206-022-000080 and 206-023-001180).  Request variances to allow the replacement of existing 664 s/f walkout cabin with a new 1050.5 s/f one-level dwelling over a partial walkout basement, a 30 s/f loft and a 100 s/f attached garage (roadside) 60’ from the ordinary highwater mark of the lake, a deck to be 6’ from the south property line and the dwelling 10’ from the south line and also 10’ from the north property line on an undersized lot.  The new structure will be connected to an existing septic system on the backlot that also serves the guesthouse on that lot.

1. 8:00 Corinna Township Planning and Zoning:  Chuck Marohn, P&Z Administrator.

           

            Letter, October 16, 2007 from Vernie Payne, Buffalo, MN.  Letter stating support for township to take on its own Planning and Zoning.  (copy of letter for town board)

 

            Corinna Township Planning Commission Meeting and Public Hearing, Thursday, November 8, 2007, 7 p.m., Town Hall will cover Subdivision Ordinance for Corinna Township and Adoption of the International Building Code.

 

            Township Attorney Tim Young attended the October 2007 Annual Township Association Legal Seminar.  Mr. Young forwarded a copy of the presentation on annexation and incorporation.  (Clerk prepared a copy for each board member)

 

2.            Township Land and Cemetery at 108th Street.  Land appraisal to be prepared.

3.         103rd Street Road Reconstruction.   10/26/07 Corps of Engineers approve modified permit.  (copy to John Dearing, 11/1/07)

4.         Elton and Gloria Schuette, 11341 Hollister Ave NW.(continued)  Request  to proceed with legal description for a perpetual use easement.

5.         Robert Dahl, 6829 Ingram Avenue NW (continued)  Further action needed for water runoff correction.                                 

6.            Kathleen Braun, 9252 67th Street (telephone request, 10/8/07).  Tabled 10/16/07 for discussion at another meeting.

7.         Wright County Board of Commissioners Public Hearing covering intent to adopt Highway 55 Corridor Official Map and Ordinance, October 30, 2007 at 7 p.m.  Comment?

8.         Dan Hinrichs, (E-M October 16 and 31, 2007).  Alert need for gravel shoulders and repair paving cracks on 75th St NW south side of Somers Lake.  October 17, 2007, Maintenance men received copy of request and telephone message 11/1/07 for follow up. (copy of letter for board)  

9.         Local Update of Census Addresses (LUCA) Program. Should township participate?  (copy of program options for town board)

10.            LarsenAllen completed Audit 2006.  Accountant forwarded a representation letter for board to read and sign.  (copy of the letter for town board).

            MNDOT, Engineering Division Ltr 10/15/07:  Advise all utility companies that MnDOT is prohibiting the use of adhesive anchors in all sustained tensile-load applications.  This applies to all Mn/DOT permit applications and projects

            Social Security Administration E-M 10/18/07:  Filing online for Social Security benefits is easy and convenient.

            Admin Minnesota, 10/31/07:  Effective Thursday, November 1, broadcast of messages regarding new state contracts and new products will be offered only thru internet address of:  http://www.mmd.admin.state.mn.us.
