1.         Corinna Township Planning and Zoning:

            A.        Update.

            B.         Wright County Board of Commissioner’s Meeting, Tuesday, January 15.

Agenda:  Corinna Township’s formal request to administer planning and zoning,  ordinances and specifically the shoreland provisions.

            C.        Corinna Township Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting, January 10, 2008, 7 p.m.  Agenda:  Update on Administration Project and Zoning Administrator’s Report.

2.         Wright County Township Officers Association Quarterly Meeting, Wednesday, January 9, 2008, 8 p.m.  Speaker:  Corinna Township’s Planner, Chuck Marohn, will give an update on Corinna and Wright County Planning and Zoning. 

3.         City of Annandale:  Ross Danielson Rolling Ridge Acres petition for annexation into the City of Annandale.

12/26/07 City of Annandale letter with draft Joint Resolution for the annexation and item to be on 1/7/08 City Council meeting agenda. (Ltr/Resolution E-M 1/3/08 to Town Board).

4.         Annandale Area Fire Commission, ltr 12/31/07:  Fire Chief interviews will be conducted on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers.  As of this letter, they have two applicants.  City Administrator asks to contact him with questions or concerns@320-274-3055.

5.         Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Chief Deputy Joe Hagerty, Ltr 12/19/07 with enclosure copy of Hanover’s four hour contract.  (copy for town board)

6.         Wright County Assessor, Gregory A. Kramber:  Local Board Training Session in Wright County, January 16, 2008, Wright County Courthouse Community Room, 9a.m.-12p.m.  RSVP:  Dawn Anderson, 763-684-4544

7.         Minnesota Association of Townships Agency, 12/18/07: Member Agreement increased coverage for maximum liability towns face for tort claims increased to $1,200,000.  (copy for town board)

8.         Audit for 2007:  1/2/08 Clerk forwarded to Schlenner and Wenner, township auditor, a list of indebtedness and cash accounts.

9.         Pay Equity Report for 2006.     State returned report for review and possible changes.

10.       Filing Notice:  The Township of Corinna will hold its annual meeting and election on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the Corinna Town Hall.  Candidates may file at the Clerk’s home office Wednesday January 2 to January 15, 2008, 5p.m.  Filing fee is $2. 

11.       Town Hall Rental:  Saturday, January 12, 2008 – 8:00a.m.-5p.m. – family event

13.       Snow pushed across road violation:  Property owner at 70th Street and 87th was notified that snow being pushed onto or near the edge of the driving surface of the road is illegal.  The letter also advised that vehicles parked on the road makes for hazardous conditions and we would appreciate his concern about safety.   (copy of letter for board)
