Approve or Amend:  Consent to the August 17, 2004 Agenda or add/remove items.

 

A copy of the previous meeting minutes, and agenda for this meeting are

available for those attending this meeting.         

 

 

Requests to be on the Agenda:

 

 

1. 7:15 Todd Borrell,  representing Robert Brault, 7622 Isaak Ave NW. Plans to remodel home and add an attached screened porch that would be 61' from lake.  Will have written statements from neighbors.

 

2. 7:30 Myron Damberger, cabin at 11395 Lathrop Ave NW.  Plans to add a 12x14 room to existing house that would be 12' from one sidelot on an undersized lot.  Survey available..

 

3.         Phyllis Beadle, 10507 107th St NW, Bass Lake.  (Telephone

Request)  Plans to improve road.  One neighbor does not intend to share in the cost.  Would like assistance from township so that all property owners share in the expense.  As there is minimum road turn around space, Ms Beadle requests a "Dead End" sign be installed.

 

4.         Complaint:  Snow fence on edge of the road, 83rd and Irvine

Other Items:

 

1.         Award the sale of Bond and Certificate of Indebtedness,

August 17, 2004:

 

            $465,000 Improvement Bond covering Ireland Ave and 96th Street, Cedar Acres of Isaak Ave and 78th St

 

            $375,000 Certificate of Indebtedness covering 80th Street total reconstruction and Ireland Avenue for overlay of an existing paved road.

 

            (Letter August 11, 2004) Attorney Tim Young is negotiating the sale with Annandale State Bank, State Bank of Kimball, Oakley National of Buffalo, and Center National Bank of Litchfield.

 

2.         80th Street Road  Improvement and Isaak Avenue to 75th and

78th Paving Project.        Letter 8/5/04, Otto and Associates -

shortage of topsoil on 78th and Isaak.  Board received email copy of correspondence, 8/9/04.

 

            Construction Update.

 

3.         Gulden and 110th Road Vacation.  Land owners, Dick

Naaktegeboren is to provide legal description of the road portion to be vacated.

 

4.         103rd Street Reconstruction.  Engineer report due in August.

 

5.         Website:  Set up seems to be complete.Webmaster Brian

Munsterteiger will

 

be purchasing the programming tool for township to maintain the website.

 

6.         2004 Junk Amnesty Day Report.  Review of quantities received

and expenses.

7.         Primary Election, September 14, 7AM-8PM.  Clerk will be

forwarding absentee ballots for both elections.  Election judges received training August 9. 

 

8.         Orderly Annexation Agreement with the City of Maple Lake.

9.         Crackseal Proposals: (continued from August 3, 2004)

 

10.       Wright County Dept of Highways Five-Year Highway Improvement

Plan.  (copy for board at meeting)

 

11.       John Ashland of 11430 103rd Street telephoned that he will be

forwarding a letter request to board for a turn around at the end of his street.

 

12.       Minnesota Fall Maintenance Expo will be October 6, and 7,

2004.  Registration due 9/28/04.  Mark Miller and Doug Smith will receive a copy of the preliminary program. 

 

13.       Dept of Administration, Strategic and Long Range Planning

forwarded a corrected copy of the joint resolution for orderly annexation as adopted by City of Maple Lake and Town of Corinna. Correction was Range 127 West to Range 27 West.

 

14.       Minnesota Revenue PERA aid payment:  Certified 2005 Pera Aid

to Corinna Township to offset increase for employer contribution rate will be $362.

 

15.       Association of Minnesota Counties Survey:  Provide information

on parks the township owns and operates.  Report by August 25.

            Auditor Update, 8/6/04:

 

                         1. 58 GAAP Cities have not reported Financial Information

 

                         2. State Auditor Obtains Release of Unclaimed Funds for City of Manhattan Beach
