Approve or amend Agenda, Town Board Meeting, August 21, 2007.

 

Public Hearing, 7 p.m.

Purpose:  To consider vacating a portion of Hollister Avenue legally described as follows:

            The 34x20’ portion of Hollister Avenue that lies between Lot 16, Block 4,

             Maple Villa and Lot 6, Block 1, Maple Villa Addition No. 1.

 

Any person wishing to be heard concerning this matter may make comments to the Board at this time.

2. 7:45  Edward Smith, property at 6519 80th St NW.  Request for variance to raise up older portion of cabin for a basement and an addition on end of cabin that is 57’ from the ordinary highwater mark of the lake.  New septic system is to be installed.

7.         Cedar Lake Conservation Club invitation to attend Annual Dinner and Meeting, Augtust 11 and Visioning Session, August 25.  John Dearing’s name was forwarded to attend the Visioning Session.

8.         HAVA Grant for Elections (continued from August 7, 2007).  Suggestion was made for the installation of an automatic door opener.

9.            Highway 55 Corridor Coalition Meeting, Friday, August 17, 2007.  Discussion.

10.       Audit for 2006.

11.            Township land and nearby cemetery at 108th Street.  Site visit Tues., August 14.

12.       Cabana Construction, Klein property owner at 11770 Hollister Ave NW, PID 206-011-002040.  (continued from June 5, 2007).  Site visit to be made for variance request to allow replacement of the existing 675 s/f one level dwelling with a new 675 s/f dwelling with a 93 s/f covered deck/entry and 511 s/f second-story, 6’ from the road right of way at the closest point, 7.3’ from the south side property line (existing deck is 65’ from ordinary highwater mark of lake.  Fill needed to meet minimum elevation standards is 150 cu. yards.  P&Z response by August 24, 2007.
