Approve or Amend: Consent to the January 4, 2005 Agenda or add/remove items.

1. Joseph and Marlyn Harbinson, 109 Lawrence Ave NW, De-o-na-ga-no Point. Request for fill that would be required to raise the lot and foundation to meet minimum flood plain regulations. (May change meeting date to Jan. 18)

Other Items:

1. Ray and Marie Howard, 8270 Irvine. (continued) Request for a portion of Irvine Avenue to be vacated. 12/17/2004 Letter sent to Mr. Mrs. Howard that township needs a survey and certificate that describes what is to be vacated. Hearing date of Jan. 18, 2005 may need to be changed. Property owner addresses have been ordered from Information Services of Wright County.

2. 103rd Street Reconstruction. Update.

3. 89th Street and Linn Ave NW Paving Project. Informational Hearing date has been changed from Tuesday, January 25 to Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Otto and Associates are to provide parcel numbers and addresses for the notice to be mailed to property owners.

4. John Foster, 11796 Knowles Ave NW.(continued) Request for vacating 118th Street – the part referred to as his driveway. Board member site visit.

5. Operation Clean Up:

Christopher Reeve, property at 8885 Gowan Letter, 12/16/2004

Complaint: Land has a stockpile of cars, boats, trailers and a semi truck box.

Deadline: 30 days, or January 16, 2005.

Steven Leinonen, property at 11718 Kramer Ave NW Letter, 12/10/2004

Complaint: Yard has 6 vehicles without motors, 2 large truck bodies and a large lot filled with pile of junk.

Deadline: 30 days or January 10, 2005.

6. Robert J. Miner, Quit Claim Deed. Document has been recorded and document has been placed on file.

7. Office of State Auditor forwarded copy of first annual Best Practices Review of Local Government Service – topic: Cooperative Efforts in Public Service Delivery. (copy on file) Copy of State Auditor Update, 12/14/2004 to board at meeting)

8. Filing for Supervisor: Last date to file is January 11, 2005, 5 p.m. for officer to be elected as (1) supervisor for three years, the term of David Stumpf, expiring.

9. Wright County Township Officer’s Ass’n Quarterly Meeting, Wednesday, January 5, 2005.

10. Building Permits, 10/8-12/6/2004 (23): 1-new home; 1-shed; 7-garages, 4- additions; 1-gas fireplace and 9-septic systems

11. Township Assessor, Ken Yager: Assessor Books have been turned in to Wright County Office. Ken Yager is now updating assessments on the parcels with building permits. He intends to visit a January or February meeting to provide an update on property values.

18. General Information:

12/17 Department of Health opened influenza vaccine to anyone who wants a vaccination. After redistributing vaccine supplies to the highest risk people, vaccine is still available for others.

Township Board received Christmas Greeting Cards from: Independent Testing, and O’Heilly Engineering and Assoc.
