Approve or Amend:  Consent to the March 15, 2005 Agenda or add/remove items.

Requests to be on the agenda:

1. 7:45 Darrell and Marianne Peterson (Martin Lehn), Parcel 206-000-103200  Gov Lots 5 & 6, 70.14 Acres and Parcel 206-000-013400, Gov Lot 7, 35.9 acres.  Plans to divide part of the land into 5 acre lots.  Request to rezone land to R2A.

2. 8:00 Paul Hansen, owner, Carlton(Butch)Willems, purchaser,represented by Gordy Peterson, Realtor.  Parcel 206-000-202104 Gov Lot 1, North 500’.  L-shaped lot of 5.01 acres.  Request variance to construct house 75’ from nearby feed lot.   (P&Z 4/5/2005)

3.         89th Street and Linn Ave NW Project.  Property owners may submit a petition to pave entire 89th Street or to annex to City of Annandale or to discuss moving road at West end of 89th

Other Business:

1.         103rd Street Reconstruction:  Otto Engineering expected to present engineering report.  Discuss date for informational hearing and letter to property owners.  Bid notice to be announced as Tuesday, April 5, 2005.

2.         Annexation Agreements:  Township Attorney Tim Young had forwarded sample copies of two recent annexation agreements.  Discussion. (Copy to Ken Jude)

3.         Annandale Fire Department meeting with Townships, Planning and Zoning, County Commissioner, Assessor, County Information Technology, City Administrator and Fire Department, Monday, March 14, 2005. 4 pm, at City Hall.  John Dearing is township representative.

4.         Request for Bids:  Bid Date:  Tuesday, April 5, 2005.  Legal notices will be advertised in the Annandale Advocate and the Maple Lake Messenger and courtesy copies to previous year bidders.

5.         Minnesota Township Association:  Update list of town officers and each sign register.

 

6.         32nd Annual Township Officers Spring Short Course, March 21, 2005 at St. Cloud Holiday Inn, 9 a.m.  Ken Jude will attend Short Course offered March 22 at Hutchinson.

7.         Open Poll Hours for 2006 Township Election.  Afternoon voter count is low.  Does board wish to consider hours of 4p.m.-8p.m for 2006 township election?

8.         Clerk/Treasurer Bond Certificate.  MN Association of Townships forwarded certificate for records.  Coverage is provided at no charge.

9.         Wayne Abdella – Email, 3/10/2005.  Suggestion to add a statement in next Corinna News that parking is not allowed on township roads.

10.       Business on Property.  P&Z letter, 3/3/2005, to Jeffrey and Christine Briggs, 7963 Irvine Ave NW.  A review of property revealed business equipment which is prohibited in R-1 Urban/Rural Transition zone.  Equipment must be removed from property by June 1, 2005.  (copy of letter to board)

11.       Township Planning and Zoning and Land Use Plan Issues.  P&Z letter of 3/2/2005.  County Board has agreed that individual township land use plan updates will not be reviewed in 2005.  (copy of letter 3/7 to board and 3/15 to Ken)

12.       Local Board of Appeal and Equalization, April 14, 2005, beginning at 3 p.m.  Legal notices will be placed in the April 4 and 11 newspapers and will be posted at town hall and website.
