an addition on his undersized lot;

1.         Planning and Zoning:  Sign contract to retain Community Growth Instititue to perform planning services by the conditions outlined in the proposal.

            Select date for Community Visioning Meeting.  The night of Wednesday, April 12; or Monday, April 17, 2006; or Wednesday, April 19, 2006.

            Assemble names of seven to nine persons for the Planning Commission

            3/18/06 E-Mail from Charlotte Quiggle stating interest in being a Township Planning Commission member.  Forwarded a copy of 2006 Land Use Planning Workshop brochure.  Training by Government Training Service and other co-sponsors

2.         Quit Title Action:  Property previously owned by Mikeal Bystrom Estate which is now owned by Donald and Rhonda Hiler.  Action is being undertaken because the legal description for a portion of the Hiler property has never been properly established by court action or by an exchange of deeds.  No claims are being made against the property utilized by Corinna Township for Hollister Ave but township is named as a party to this action since Hollister Ave is adjacent to the property now owned by Donald and Rhonda Hiler.

            Sign Acknowledgement of Receipt of Summons and Complaint, and copies of Minnesota Rules of Civil Procedure 4.05 and 6.05.

3.         Topfer’s Sugar Lake Beach, Second Addition, former 106th Street Road          Vacation.  Hearing to be scheduled for the town board meeting, April 4,

            2006.   Each parcel owner along the road will pay recording fee for their parcel

            boundary changes.

 

4.         Operation Clean-Up Wright County.  Update to procedure.  A valid ordinance addressing motor vehicles junk and refuse type of nuisance cases is necessary in order for County Attorney’s Office to prosecute criminally those who have violated.  Wright County Attorney’s Office forwarded and defined the necessary statements that must be included in the ordinance.  (copy of  ordinance information including copy of letter to alleged violator available for board at meeting)

 

5.         Request for Bids:  Bid opening date of April 4, 2006.

            Recycling Contractor Bid:  Present contract with Wright Recycling ends March 31, 2006.  Review legal notice and last signed contract for any wording changes.     (copy available at meeting)

 

6.         New Town Hall. 

            Contractor payment.

            Wright Hennepin Security:  Forwarded a summary statement of the security service, insurance certificate, and emergency call list   (on file)

            Review Town Hall Rental Application and Township Hall Rental Policy.

7.         Annual Township Officers Spring Short Course, March 20-April 7, 2006.

8.         Maple Lake Fire Department Fire Contract.  Review and forward signed contract.

 

9.         Certificate of Indebtedness of 2006 for $460,000 covering Town Hall, Supplemental for 80th Street Construction and Missed 2005 80th Street Levy.

March 9, 2006,  bank documents were signed and $460,000 deposited to township account’s specific funds.

 

10.       Updated list of  township officers for Minnesota Association of Townships.

Postal regulations require that all officers must sign the form in order to receive the “Minnesota Township News”.

 

11.       2006 Spring Weight Restrictions.  Restrictions went into effect on all Wright County highways at 12:00 noon on Friday, March 10.  Notice posted on maintenance building outside bulletin board.

Minnesota Pollution Control Agency notice:

Construction stormwater permit liability if you obtained a stormwater permit for a construction site, but never closed it, you may still be responsible for storm water damage.  Get rid of this liability by:

Transferring ownership of the entire site with a transfer/modification form.

Subdividing responsibility for 100% of the site (including roads, stormwater ponds, green spaces, etc.) with subdivision registration forms.

Closing the permit with a notice of termination form.
