Lake, Tab Ashwill and neighbors.
2. Andrew
Fink, property location: 10501 Kimball Ave NW. Request for variance to
place pole barn 20’ from edge of road.

1. 80th
Street Road Project. Attorney Young
forwarded originals of the recorded easements for the right of way for 80th
Street. The easements have been placed in 80th
St Project file. 9/28 board received copies of
Braun Intertec Bituminous paving tests.
2. Isaak Ave & 78th
Street Project.
Cara Otto, Engineer, forwarded three property owner approvals for partial driveway
reconstructing. Project resident, Dave Wagner, e-mailed expression that the
road is wonderful and thanks to the Board for their efforts to get this project
done when the process was not an easy one. It is a great improvement to the
neighborhood and to the community. Rollerbladers,
bikers and walkers were promptly using the road. Mr. Wagner asked if 78th,
Isaak and 80th streets will have speed
limits posted?
3. 103rd
Street Reconstruction. Engineering
plans and specifications have been ordered from Otto Associates. 9/30, E-mail
from Ericksons stated that they wish to attend the
township meeting when engineering plans are received.
4. General
Election, Tuesday, November 2,
2004. Three shifts of five judges, including a student
judge, are anticipating a busy election day. 75 Absentee Ballot requests for
those persons out of town or in the military have been received and clerk
expects more requests in the next two weeks.
5. Highway
24 MNDOT Public Hearing, September 22.
6. Special
Assessments. Cut-off date for maintenance or any new special assessments is
November 30, 2004. Taxes
payable in 2005, County will charge a fee for all new special assessment
processing at a rate of $1.75 per parcel, with a maintenance fee of $.40 per
parcel. (copy of letter to board, 10/5)
7. Clearwater
River Watershed and University Extension Office Meeting,
September 25, township hall. Watershed invited property owners from Clearwater
Lake and other areas to discuss
wastewater issues. 9/27, township resident e-mail encouraged township
to participate actively in any opportunity to identify or profile the quality
of septic systems of all landowners in the township. (copy

8. Township
Officer’s Association Quarterly Meeting, Thursday, October 7, 2004, 8 p.m., Wright
County Government
Center. (copy of meeting notice and draft meeting minutes of July 1
to board, 10/5)
9. Centerpoint
Energy-Minnegasco, letter 10/1/04.
Minnegasco has filed a request for an increase in
natural gas rates of 1.8% Public hearing dates, times and locations will be
advertised in newspapers for each service area.
10. Edward
Beadle, 117th Street NW,
Bass Lake.
9/26, Ltr stated brush and trees are scheduled to
be removed that week end and will inform township when work is completed. Forwarded a map of the area that needs graveling. (copy of letter and map given to Mark Miller)
