School District 876
Superintendent, Steve Niklaus
Request for
support and answer questions regarding the School District Proposal to increase
the school support levy to $650 and allow inflationary increases each year for
seven years. Referendum will be on General Election Ballot.
Corinna has forwarded a copy of the audited financial
statement for year ending 2005 to Ehlers and Associates who are preparing
official statement for the sale of municipal obligations for ISD 876. Financial
statements will be compiled to give accurate information as to overlapping or
underlying debt of the school district.
2. 7:15 Mark
and Debra Maas, 11599 Kramer Avenue NW,
Clearwater Lake.
PID 206-121-00010, 206-000-052307 & -061407 Petition for a Conditional Use Permit
to allow approximately 350 c/yd of fill to raise the site to meet minimum flood
plain regulations for the construction of a new dwelling.
Cabin to be removed is 64’ from the OHWM of lake and new home will meet the 75’
required distance to lake. Added new septic system in 2004 and well certified
in 2002. (Hearing October 26, 2006

Carlson, real estate agent representing property owners along part of Irvine
Ave NW. Present petition to vacate a portion of Irvine Ave.

Township Comprehensive Plan. Next Task Force Meeting is Monday,
October 23 at 7:30 p.m. at town
hall. Public Hearing date.
2. Wright County Commissioners Meeting with Township Representatives.
(Tabled from 10/3/06
meeting) Township to respond if interested in attending, representative name
and preferred date.
3. Clearwater
River Watershed District Public Hearing for Project 806-1, Cedar, Albion,
Swarthout and Hernshaw, 7 p.m., October 11 and November 8. John
Dearing planned to attend one meeting. Watershed District was notified by
letter to cancel assessment on property 206-077-001110 as the parcel became a
road connecting two streets.
4. Township
Property near North Corinna Cemetery
Deed has been recorded. Liability insurance now covers the house. Township
Attorney has prepared a Request for Bids Notice and a Purchase Agreement. Bid
notice to be published in the two official township newspapers. (Bid notice and
Purchase Agreement draft)

County Township
Officers’ Association Meeting, October
5, 2006. Report.

Violation: Steve Leinonen, 11718
Kramer Ave NW. Violation letter sent to
Mr.Leinonen that the piles of iron, bicycle frames
and logs and unlicensed or inoperable vehicles are to be cleared from the
property by November 6, or 30 days. (Ltr copy)

Permits (8/17-10/4/06) (18) 1-new home; 1-foundation repair; 2-additions;
1-garage; 4-home alterations and 9-new septic systems.
10. November Town Board Meeting Tuesday, November 14. As the
General Election will be the same date as township meeting, November 7, one
meeting will be held during November - Tuesday, November 14. Date change will
be published.
11. General
Election: Polls will be open 7:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m.
Absentee ballot
requests may be mailed to the town clerk. Last day to mail ballots will be October 24, 2006. The clerk will be
available for absentee voting Saturday, Nov. 4, 10:00-3:00
p.m. and Monday, Nov. 6 until 5 p.m.
Public Accuracy
Test for Optical Scan Equipment will be performed as soon as ballots are
available. The date will be published.
Two additional
election judges will help with new registrations and assist at Automark
Clerk as Chief
Election Official will attend General Election Informational Meeting at Wright
County Court House, Wednesday,
October 25, 2006 at 7 p.m.
