Road Vacation Hearing, 7 p.m. :

 

            That part of Gulden Avenue NW, which lies northerly of the

Westerly     Extension of the south line of Outlot A, Sugar Highlands.

 

(If road vacation is approved, Chairman is to sign resolution.  Clerk will prepare Notice of Completion and have the vacated road description filed at the Wright County Recorder's Office.)

Other Items:

 

1.         80th Street Road Improvement.  Update

 

2.         Isaak Ave to 7th and 78th Paving Project.  Update.  Received

several calls and emails objecting to greasy road condition and asking road to be in a condition for school bus travel for school opening September 1.  Angie Manuel, 8908 78th St NW,  expressed that a contingency plan should have been in place for emergency vehicles when the road became so impassable and that better communication to the property owners along road should have been provided. 

 

3.         103rd Street Reconstruction.   Update.  Clerk responded to

Mr. Erickson's email 8/25, that the engineering report has not been received. 

 

4.         Website:  Webmaster Brian Munsterteiger will be obtaining the

software necessary to maintain the website.

 

5.         Phyllis Beadle, 10507 117th St NW, Bass Lake (follow up of

8/17 request)  John Dearing made a road inspection and determined that brush and branches along the road needs to be removed so that township truck may haul in gravel to improve the road. The gravel will be hauled and spread at township expense.  Property owner was also informed to notify the township when the brush removal is done.  A "dead end" sign will be installed at the road's entrance.

 

6.         Property Owner complaint of neighbor at 83rd and Irvine.

John Dearing made a road inspection and determined that even though the snow fence and logs are an "eyesore" the logs and snow fence are on private property.  Clerk responded to property owner making the complaint.

 

7.         Robert Jensen, 6775 Ireland Ave NW.  (follow up of 8/17

request for ditch seeding)

 

8.         Junk Amnesty, July 31, 2004.   Letters were mailed stating

appreciation for the help the volunteers, youth workers and the Sentence To Serve Crew provided Junk Amnesty Day.  Letters included the quantities recycled/salvaged. Clean Up Report was compiled and sent to Wright County Planning and Zoning.

 

9.         Primary Election, September 14, 2004, 7 AM-8PM.   Clerk has

been forwarding absentee ballots for the Primary and will do the same for the General Election.

 

10.       John Ashland, 11430 103rd Street.  Mr. Ashland had telephoned

that a letter would be in mail for a turn around at the end of his street.  Letter has not been received. 

 

11.       City of Annandale and Pleasant Lake Meeting, Saturday, August

21.  Report..  Agenda covered discussion of lake association request for sewer and water lines to be installed on north side of Pleasant Lake.

 

12.       MNDT Meeting covering Highway 24 Improvement, Wednesday,

September 22.

 

13.       Paul and Julene Glassman, 8195 Griffith Avenue NW.  8/20,

Robert Feely of Troutwells representing the Glassmans, requested emergency approval for placement of a new well and septic system line

under the road at the residence.    Agreement forms were fax'd.

 

14.       Seerti Hills Development.  8/19 Fax from Otto Associates to

Larry Maki, Developer, lien waiver received from Busse Construction. Some repair is required prior to the wear course being placed and a walk-through was scheduled the following week.

 

15.       Wokson and Marion Cornwell vs Defendants , State Bank of

Rogers and Corinna Township, et al.  Proceedings to determine ownership of real property in township.  Board Chairman and Supervisors are to sign a document agreeing or not agreeing with Stipulation and Order as drafted. 

 

16.       MN Association of Townships District 7 Meeting:  Wednesday,

September 15, 2004, 7 p.m., Registration; 7:30 p.m., Meeting at Lent Town Hall, Stacy, Chisago County, 331255 Hemingway Avenue.  Tentative Agenda is on file.

            Admin Minnesota, 8/25:  Sun Microsystems Computer Hardware and Maintenance Service; Contract Release for Custom Imprint Promotional Items; Asset Record Corporation Reduces cost from $.25 to $.20 for August, 2004.  (on file)

 

            Technology Exchange, Summer Edition 2004:  Article covering "a day at the 2004 Spring Expo in St. Cloud", and other articles regarding snowplows, highway-rail intersections, etc.  Each edition is forwarded to the maintenance men.
