YOUR YARD!
BE SURE TO
MARK SATURDAY, JULY 29 ON YOUR CALENDAR!
At the Annual
Meeting, the electors approved hiring Community Growth Institute to aid the
Township in the process of setting up our own Planning and Zoning. A ten-member
Task Force was appointed by the Town Board to study the issues and set goals.
Two Visioning sessions were held in April and May for citizen input. The Task
Force has been meeting twice a month to develop our goals.
Dates have been
tentatively set for Task Force Action. First, Tuesday, August
22 for A Community Strategy Workshop at
WRIGHT COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING HEARING –
This is a
continued hearing on an ordinance change, due in large
part to Corinna’s possibly taking over its P & Z.
Your support is encouraged
NEW TOWN
HALL
Many small
items at the new hall have been completed. Sidewalks are in, black topping is
finished, and the flag pole is in place. The posts for the sign are in and we
are waiting for the sign. The mirrors for the restrooms are here and will be
installed. The grass around the hall needs some help, RAIN. Our treasured
township map from the old hall has been up dated and touched up. A big thank you to Dennis Larson, the original artist back in the
70s for the restoration and up dating.
MUNDANE, BUT
IMPORTANT ITEMS
It is summer,
but soon fall will come. Don’t place your recreational toys (docks, pontoons,
trailers) on the road right of way. The Township trucks will have to get
through to remove snow. Your cooperation is appreciated.
