Help keep our township clean and protect our environment.  Removing recyclables from our waste reduces amounts going to landfills and is less expensive than land filling.  It takes 95% less energy to make an aluminum can from recycled aluminum than from virgin bauxite ore.  Recycling an aluminum can saves six ounces of gasoline!  Recycling a three foot stack of newspapers saves a forty foot tree!
