Each summer, Corinna Township conducts a Junk Amnesty Day. On that
Saturday, Corinna Township residents can haul unwanted items for disposal to the Township
Hall, 9801 Ireland, (1/3 mile North on Ireland Avenue from Cty Rd 39). A
fee is charged to accept certain items.
On
Saturday, July 26, Corinna Township residents can haul unwanted items for
disposal to the Township Hall area.
All loads
will be charged, and there is a fee to accept white goods, air conditioners, mattresses
and stuffed furniture and tires. Electronic items such as TVs, computers,
stereos, printers and copiers will also be accepted with charge equal to that
fee vendor charges the township.
A
newsletter will be in the mail in July to all property owners to announce the
items that may be disposed.
Volunteers are always needed for this busy day.
Cost: All loads will be charged. $15.00 - $30.00 per
load or equivalent, larger loads more, plus a surcharge on some items noted
below.

***HELPFUL HINTS FOR LOADING***
JUNK AMNESTY is a service for Corinna Township property owners. Please follow these guidelines when loading. If your load contains appliances, put them near the front of the load. They are unloaded last. If you have cement or shingles, load them on a pallet or boards so that they can be unloaded with the Bobcat or Loader. Keep scrap iron separate from the other material. If you are able bodied, please help unload your trash. Our “muscle power” supply is limited. Thanks for your cooperation.
